Help With Your Application

The first hurdle for any potential applicant is to identify which is the right funding programme for them. In this section, we’re here to try and help you with that.
Certain programmes are specifically designed to support individuals with costs to support their career development or in creating new work. Others are open to organisations looking for the funding to support similar aims, or to help with things like organisational development, setting up an artist’s residency or major building works. There are programmes which specifically fund activity like festivals, international touring, film production, youth music, public art or new digital innovations. Others aim to fund any project that helps get more people involved in the arts, or celebrate the places where creative communities exist in Scotland.
Whether you’re looking to apply as an individual or an organisation, if you’re not sure which is the programme for you, then you should look first at our ‘What can I apply to’ page.
In this section you’ll also find help with things like help with your budget, and the alternative formats for applying if you have a disability.
But if you want to talk to somebody then you can call our Enquiries Services on 0845 603 6000 or email enquiries@creativescotland.com. Lines are open from 10am-12noon, and 2-4pm Mon-Fri, and outwith these times you can leave a message and we’ll come back to you.
